prestigious Indian Army, after their Law Graduation. They can join the Army
through the
JAG Entry (Judge Advocate Entry). Army offers you a great life,
with job satisfaction, handsome salary and decorative facilities. Anybody would
wish to join the army to serve the nation and live a happy, honored life.
Let
us have a look on the different aspects of the JAG Entry
- Who all can apply: Unmarried/Married Males and Unmarried
females, who are law graduates, can apply through this entry.
- Educational Qualification: The candidate must be a Graduate
with LLB / LLM with 55% marks. They must be registered with Bar Council of
India / State.
- Age: The candidates should lie between 21-27 years of age.
- Commission: The candidates will be inducted through short
service commission.
- Training Academy: The training academy is Officers training
Academy (OTA).
- Procedure:
- Initial Screening and shortlisting of applications is done
at Recruiting Directorate Army Headquarters.
- Shortlisted candidates then face SSB interview.
- The candidates, who qualify at the Service Selection Board
and are found medically fit by a Medical Board, are placed in order of merit.
The final selection is made according to the number of vacancies available at
that time.
- Time of Notification: The notification is released in
June/July on the career website of Indian Army.
